London had a Little Lamb
It’s crazy to believe that the end of summer is almost here! It seems like the donut and ice cream pool floats have been replaced with back-to-school supplies overnight and without warning. With that being said, we still have time to squeeze some fun into the last days of summer with our summer to-do list.  If you’re a working mommy like me, these are some fun ideas for your kids to do with your sitter while you’re away.

Nick and I have agreed to do at least one thing a day so London can really enjoy her first summer. We might just totally wear ourselves out trying to complete everything but that’s what summer is all about :)!  Let me know what’s on your list mamas, can’t wait to hear it.

  • piggy paint pedicures
  • run through sprinklers
  • take a picnic in the park
  • go swimming
  • barbecue with friends
  • fly a kite
  • swing in the hammock
  • go to an outdoor movie in the park
  • get some fro-yo
  • go to the beach
  • set up a blanket fort in the family room
  • eat popsicles
  • paint your first masterpiece
  • read a book on the porch
  • jump on the trampoline
  • have play dates with friends
  • take long walks in the park
  • pick flowers
  • go for a bike ride
  • try a new recipe

And don’t forget to wear sunscreen! 😉

  2. Love all of these ideas! Im totally in to participate with you and beautiful London. Miss you beautiful girls. PS absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the site. Sooooooo gorge! Just like London and her mumma =)

  3. I LOVE the romper! It is not only so adorable with L’s little moccasins, but it looks so comfy and perfect for a hot and muggy Michigan summer day!

  4. Such great ideas! If you don’t already have it, “London” by Salvatore Rubbino is super cute! A mom and her little girl go to London.

    • Aww that sounds adorable! I definitely have to buy it. Our favorite book right now is “This Little Piggy Went to Prada.” 😉
