On Gisele and Leo: Hux Baby
One of my favorite milestones while watching our babies grow is getting them started on solids. I am obsessed with how cute they look with their mouths wide open as soon as they see a spoon of goodness headed their way and those little faces they make are just priceless. You really don’t need much to get started but a few key, high-quality items definitely help make the process easier and more enjoyable. Keep reading for my top five favorite items.
- Bloom Fresco Highchair
This high chair is truly one of my favorite baby items. Not only is it the best looking high chair out there (in my opinion ;)) but it is the only high chair that reclines into three different positions. My favorite is the semi-recline for when the twins take a bottle after their food but I also love the upright position for letting them eat finger foods while the they watch their big sister, London play. It is also the only highchair that can be adjusted to multiple different heights and can be used up until your babies are 8 years old.
- Beaba Babycook Baby Food Maker
I am obsessed with how easy it is to make our baby food this time around. The Beaba Babycook not only blends well, but it also has a steam-heating system that others don’t. I have used it to blend, puree and cook meats, fruits vegetables for the twins. I wish I had it when London was first starting on solids.
- Beaba Silicone Spoons
We have tried a ton of spoons ever since London started eating real food but these have been our favorite. They are soft and gentle on Leo and Gisele’s teething gums and the perfect shape for their little hands to hold.
- Aden and Anais Burpy Bibs
These are by far my favorite bibs for our messy little twinkies! Not only are they big enough to drape over our babies’ shoulders to catch any and all possible messes, but they are also the perfect shape to use on my shoulder as a burp cloth- I love that!
